Our apprenticeships are ideal for those wanting to continue studying whilst gaining practical experience within the workplace.
You will study towards a National Apprenticeship that will be directly related to the work you will be undertaking. On top of this we'll reward you with a progressive salary and benefits package.
The programme length is 3 years.
What we’re looking for
The most important thing to us is your attitude! We want passionate, hard-working and ambitious people to join our team. You must have strong communication skills, be able to work within diverse teams and embrace change. We need you to continually seek to improve the business and yourself.
We require you to be working towards, or hold a minimum of, 3 GCSEs grade C (4) or above including Maths, English and a Science.

Our apprenticeship development programme gives you the opportunity to take control of your own development and career progression whilst simultaneously making a real impact on our business' success.
The first period of your training will be spent on-site at our Apprentice Training centre in Scunthorpe, where we will prepare you for going out into our plant areas. The remainder of the apprenticeship is plant-based, working in Steelmaking, Ironmaking, Energy and Infrastructure or one of our Mills. You will be working alongside our current Craft Team Members to gain skills and knowledge. Typically our Craft Team Members perform maintenance on our site, covering a wide variety of machinery and equipment
What we offer you
Apprentice salaries start from £8,632 with progression over the course of your apprenticeship. In addition to your salary, we’ll fully fund your training. On completion of your apprenticeship the aim is to appoint you to a Craft Team Member role within our business.
