What we need to know about youWe are looking for highly motivated, flexible, reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our varied and diverse teams across the Scunthorpe site. These are shift based roles (including weekend working) therefore you must be aged 18 years or over in order to satisfy the legal requirement for shift working.You must be qualified to GCSE grade C (4) or above in English and Maths and basic IT skills would also be of benefit.It is essential that you have a full and valid driving licence (motorbike or car) as this is a requirement for mobile plant training. Any relevant experience of working with mobile plant would also be of benefit. You need to be able to work well within a team and possess excellent communication skills, be willing to learn and have a drive to succeed.
What we can offer youYou will either join as a Manufacturing Trainee with the first 6 months being your training period or as a Team Member learning and training on the job, and will receive a basic salary of £22,819 whilst you train and gain knowledge and experience. Following this 6 month period your wage will rise to £25,000. After 18 months you will then move on to the full departmental rate for the area, typically £27,000. In most cases the salaries will also attract an additional 30% shift premium for working shifts.
